ALICE NATIONAL SUMMIT
At United Way and United For ALICE, our top priority is always the health and safety of all individuals and families in our communities. With that guiding principle in mind, we have decided to reschedule the National ALICE Summit for the fall.
This difficult decision came after weighing the risks to all involved and determining that our greater mission in this moment is to protect the common good. We believe that it is best to act with calm and caution.
We need to focus on fighting for ALICE families in the face of this health emergency across the country. We know all too well that ALICE households and those in poverty are at greatest risk during a crisis. These families do not have the resources to handle a catastrophic illness, nor can they make up for the loss of even one day’s wages, let alone the effect of a two-week quarantine.
We apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause you, but we ask for your understanding and your assistance in helping ALICE and our communities at this critical time.
We are working with Hilton Naples to determine a new date for the summit. In the meantime, there are the following four options for canceling your room registration. In all cases, note that you are canceling due to the Summit being cancelled. This will ensure you are able to avoid a penalty.
